Both if you are about to break the on/off switch for your monitor and if it is simply in a complicated place, MonitOff offers you a very simple solution.
MonitOff creates a small icon in the toolbar, thanks to which you have the chance to shut off the monitor with just a pair of clicks. And to start it again you still have no problems, as you just have to right click the mouse.
Obviously, all the programs that were running when you shut off the monitor will still be running. For example if you were listening to music, MonitOff will shut down the monitor but you will still be able to listen to the music.
